The New York City Department of Sanitation (the Department, or DSNY) is seeking (an) appropriately qualified Contractor(s) to conduct a comprehensive waste characterization study (Study) of New York City s Department-managed municipal solid waste (MSW). Throughout this Request for Proposals (RFP), the term MSW will refer to refuse, paper, Metal,Glass, and Plastics (MGP), and organics generated by residents, public ( institutional ) entities, and commercial establishments.
