The Pension Insurance Institution (PVA) operates, among other facilities, the St. Radegund Rehabilitation Center (RZ) in Styria. As part of a construction project, the rehabilitation center is to be expanded to create additional capacity for approximately 100 beds. In preparation for this construction project, the Pension Insurance Institution now intends to award general planning services relating to the preliminary design phase. Since the commissioning of the new bed wing is planned for 2029, the tight schedule requires the urgent implementation of the construction project, which is why the preliminary design planning is to be awarded in advance, probably from September/October 2026. Subsequently, the procurement procedure concerning the structural implementation of the expansion project is expected to be conducted in 2027, and the work is to be carried out in 2028/2029.
