The contract was awarded for the deinstallation and dismantling of the existing systems and the delivery and installation of a new, operational system. The contract includes construction work to prepare the installation site. In 2013, cage systems for housing rodents in the Preclinical Facility on the ISTA campus were put out to tender and awarded to Tecniplast GmbH. Currently, mice are housed in 5000 Tecniplast cages and rats in 300 Tecniplast cages. The existing facility has a total capacity of approximately 8500 cages and is to be replaced by the end of 2026. For this purpose, the existing facility will now be completely deinstalled, dismantled and disposed of, and construction work will be carried out at the installation site. Procedure: neg-w-call.
