Opportunity description

Each contract concluded on the basis of the framework agreement is a service contract whose purpose is the sweeping and drain cleaning of roads in the network of the Verviers Roads Directorate. The services are carried out on roads belonging to Network I, which are described in the annex to the special specifications, as well as on roads in Network II. The services consist of preventive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance. The services include in particular: 1/ Preventive maintenance - Sweeping: o Cleaning of non-traffic areas (parking areas, emergency lanes, backing strips,… o Cleaning of linear elements o Cleaning of cycle paths adjacent to the roadway or otherwise - Drain cleaning: o Cleaning of storm drains or sumps (on roads and engineering structures) 2/ Condition-based maintenance - Drain cleaning: o Cleaning of lined and unlined ditches o Cleaning of closed-section pipes (various sections) - Clearing pavement edges (edging) - Leveling of medians adjacent to a linear element - Leveling of medians not adjacent to a linear element - 3/ Corrective maintenance - Use of a vacuum sweeper, a sweeping truck - Use of a sewer-cleaning vacuum truck - Restoration of ditch dimensions Contract duration: the contract is concluded for two successive one-year periods. However, each beneficiary of the central purchasing body may terminate the contract concerning it at the end of each annual period, subject to notification of notice by registered letter, or by electronic transmission providing equivalent assurance of the exact date of sending, 3 months before that expiry date.
