Opportunity description
The services include: - Carrying out a topographic survey; - Further developing, in spatial and traffic-engineering terms, the design alternatives from the scoping note for the GRUP ‘Zelzate East’ in order to provide the necessary input for the preparation of the plan-EIA. - The further design research requested in the context of the further preparation of the plan-EIA. The preparation of the plan-EIA itself is not part of this contract. - To ensure that the necessary attention is paid to road safety, traffic engineering, human factors and road design throughout the entire design process, each design team must include at least one member holding a certificate from a recognised road safety auditor training programme (https://www.vlaanderen.be/mobiliteit-en-openbare-werken/verkeer/verkeersveiligheidsaudit). It is this member’s task to identify road safety bottlenecks for the different categories of road users, state their severity, and adjust or have the design process adjusted accordingly. Points requiring attention and considerations made are listed, together with the necessary background information, in a reference document so that they are not repeatedly called into question during subsequent steps. This contract consists of a fixed part and a conditional part. For a detailed description of the subject matter of the contract, reference is made to the technical provisions. Procedure: open. Review the original TED notice for the complete requirement, lots, amendments and attachments.
