Opportunity description

The contract comprises the appointment of a consultancy firm to prepare the municipal Lummen Spatial Policy Plan with an integrated mobility component and integrated plan-EIA. The contract aims to establish a forward-looking, coherent and implementable framework for the spatial development of the municipality, with the interaction between spatial planning and mobility taking centre stage. The contract comprises: • the preparation of a strategic vision for spatial planning and mobility; • the development of policy frameworks, addressing at least the themes of housing and mobility; • the preparation of an operational mobility programme; • the preparation of an integrated plan-EIA; • participation and stakeholder management; • process guidance and coordination of the entire process. The contract shall be performed in accordance with the applicable decree-based and procedural provisions in this regard. The contractor is responsible for the overall coordination of the study team and the process, including coordination with any subcontractors and all stakeholders involved. Procedure: open.
