To encourage children to adopt healthier eating habits, schools can qualify, through the Flemish Government's Oog voor Lekkers campaign, for a subsidy to distribute a portion of fruit or vegetables to their pupils as a snack on a fixed school day each week. The 7 Hasselt municipal schools are participating in this project and are expanding the healthy snacks to 2 portions per week by means of the healthy food at school subsidy provided by the City of Hasselt's complementary education policy service. This contract includes the delivery of fresh fruit and (snack) vegetables to the participating schools within the territory of the City of Hasselt. Procedure: open.
