This contract aims to appoint service providers to carry out fire risk analyses of buildings, mainly intended for housing, belonging to Public Service Housing Companies in Wallonia (excluding the German-speaking Community), including the common areas of a building (circulation areas, technical rooms) and, where applicable, ancillary functions (offices, multipurpose room, underground or covered car parks, etc.). The “building” is defined as a “continuous built unit, physically delimited, forming a homogeneous whole distinct from adjacent constructions.” The assignment aims to facilitate the management of fire prevention in apartment buildings belonging to Public Service Housing Companies and to propose and cost the firefighting measures to be implemented to improve situations requiring them. Fire risk analysis for buildings subject to the Basic Fire Standards (NBI), i.e., medium-rise and high-rise buildings for which the building permit application was submitted after 26 May 1995 and low-rise buildings (under 10 m) after 1 January 1998. Fire risk analysis for apartment buildings older than those named in Lot I and therefore buildings not subject to the Basic Fire Standards, i.e., medium-rise and high-rise buildings for which the building permit application was submitted before 26 May 1995 and low-rise buildings (under 10 m) before 1 January 1998.
