Opportunity description

This contract concerns the delivery, installation, commissioning and maintenance of an automated coagulation platform for the Clinical Laboratory of AZ Sint-Lucas. The platform will mainly be used within the clinical laboratory to perform routine and specialized coagulation analyses for outpatients and hospitalized patients. The system must be suitable for a high level of daily routine activity and must enable reliable, continuous and efficient processing of coagulation analyses. It is expected that different analyses can be processed simultaneously and ad random, so that both routine requests and urgent determinations can be handled optimally. The platform will be used to perform common coagulation tests such as PT, aPTT, fibrinogen and D-dimers, as well as specialized coagulation tests, including determinations in the context of thrombophilia screening, anticoagulant therapy and lupus anticoagulant diagnostics. Given the importance of continuity in patient care, an adequate back-up solution must also be provided for routine activities, so that service remains guaranteed in the event of technical failures or maintenance. The platform offered must fit within the existing laboratory operations and contribute to an efficient workflow, quality assurance, standardization of analyses and optimal support for laboratory staff. In addition, this contract provides for the optional delivery of an additional device for the future Watersportlaan campus (the current AZ Jan Palfijn) during 2027. Procedure: open.
