Opportunity description

The contract comprises the supply of reagents for point-of-care glucose determinations. Within the framework of this contract, the contractor shall provide, for the entire duration of the contract, a point-of-care testing (POCT) system for glucose determinations, including the required middleware. The contract also includes: • The commissioning and configuration of the POCT system. • The training of the designated personnel of the contracting authority. • A full-omnium maintenance contract for the devices provided. The devices are provided without a separate purchase price. The associated costs are included in the unit prices of the reagents. The devices shall remain the property of the contractor throughout the entire term of the contract and shall be taken back by the latter upon completion of the contract. The solution will be used to perform glucose POCT for patients in the hospitals AZ Sint-Jan Brugge AV and campus SFX, AZ Sint-Lucas vzw and AZ Alma under the management of laboratory medicine. Performance obligation: the present contract entails a performance obligation on the part of the contractor. This implies that the contractor undertakes to deliver what is described, in accordance with the provisions of these specifications and the rules of good workmanship, and within the time limits provided for this purpose. Non-exclusivity: the contractor does not have exclusivity within the framework of this public contract. The contracting authority may, provided this is in accordance with the applicable public procurement legislation, have services identical or analogous to those described in the specifications performed by third parties during the term of this contract.
