This contract concerns the performance of nutritional analyses of foodstuffs on behalf of the non-profit association NUBEL (Nutrients Belgium). These analyses aim to determine the nutritional composition of foods in order to populate the national reference database, support scientific projects, and guarantee the quality of the information disseminated regarding nutrition. The services include, in particular, the analysis of macronutrients, micronutrients, vitamins, minerals, fiber, sugars, fatty acid profiles, amino acids, as well as any other relevant nutritional parameter. The contract is concluded in the form of a unit-price contract executed through purchase orders, according to the needs of the contracting authority. The volumes of analyses and the number of samples are variable and cannot be determined in advance. The contract is concluded for a period of four years, covering the period 2027–2030. The analyses must be performed according to scientifically validated methods (ISO, AOAC standards, or equivalent) by laboratories holding valid ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. The service provider is also responsible for ensuring the logistical management of samples, compliance with analysis deadlines, and the provision of complete and usable reports in electronic format. The total amount of the contract is estimated at a maximum of €200,000 excluding VAT for its entire duration, with no commitment regarding the volumes actually ordered.
