Opportunity description

This procurement dossier concerns the supply, installation and commissioning of lockers and safes for various user groups and functional areas within the hospital. This includes lockers in the staff changing rooms, team rooms and nursing stations, patient areas and patient rooms, as well as lockers for the administrative departments where flexible working is practiced. For the staff changing rooms, a flexible concept is initially envisaged in which dynamic, non-personal lockers are combined with smaller personal lockers for the permanent storage of, for example, work shoes or other personal work-related items. Given the available floor space in both the central staff changing rooms and the operating theatre changing rooms, the available space must be used as efficiently as possible. The tenderer is requested to develop an optimal locker concept, taking into account the available spaces, user needs and the plans provided, and to visualize this schematically in the tender. In addition to this basic solution, the tenderer must develop a fully-fledged variant in which the staff changing rooms are fitted out to the maximum extent with personal, individually assigned lockers. This variant must also be drawn on the planning made available (during the specifications phase) and priced separately so that the contracting authority can assess and compare both concepts transparently. For the dynamic, non-personal lockers in the staff changing rooms and administrative departments, an electronic access and management system must be provided that is linked to the hospital's central badge management system. This must enable employees to use these lockers with their existing staff badge. The personal lockers within the staff changing rooms are not subject to this mandatory linkage. In addition, smaller lockers are to be provided in team rooms and nursing stations for the safe storage of personal belongings such as smartphones and wallets. Lockers are also to be provided in various patient areas, including the day hospital. In the patient rooms, these are individual safes for the secure storage of personal belongings and valuables. For the administrative departments, where flexible workstations are used, an adapted locker concept must be proposed that takes into account the efficient use of the available capacity and can support both dynamic and personal use. For all lockers and safes not linked to the central badge management system, the tenderer must propose an efficient, user-friendly and durable locking system that does not use physical keys. The proposed solution must be adapted to the intended use and the relevant user group and must be easy for the hospital to manage. Possible solutions may, for example, use a PIN code, a separate badge, a wristband or an equivalent electronic system. The whole must result in a flexible, secure, user-friendly, easy-to-maintain and future-oriented locker system that is optimally aligned with the available infrastructure, the various usage profiles and the hospital's operational functioning.
