Opportunity description
This purchase concerns the conclusion of an agreement with one contractor for the supply of clothing for police personnel to the Rivierenland Police Zone for a term of 48 months. It is a non-exclusive agreement with no purchase obligation. Consequently, notwithstanding the conclusion of this agreement by the contracting authority, Rivierenland Police Zone, on the basis of the specifications in question, Rivierenland Police Zone is free to order elsewhere during the term of the contract or not to place any order. The contractor cannot claim compensation for this. Indicative scope of the contract: The indicative value of the contract over its entire term has been set at € 2.600.000 excluding VAT. The contracting authority draws tenderers' attention to the fact that this indicative value was not determined on the basis of the estimated quantities included in the inventory and that this indicative value therefore does not constitute an indication of the tender amount that may be submitted. Instead, it concerns the indicative value of the agreement, established on the basis of the quantities likely to be ordered across all call-offs that may be placed under the agreement. Contracts under this agreement will be concluded by means of call-offs based on an order. In order to monitor the scope of the contract, expenditure under the agreement will be monitored and measures may be taken, as described below, to prevent the indicative value of the contract from being exceeded. To enable monitoring, the contractor must also ensure appropriate reporting regarding purchase volumes (see below). The contracting authority reserves the right to take measures if, based on the monitoring of purchases, it becomes clear that the projected indicative value of the contract is at risk of being exceeded. Such measures may include, among others: - Refusing a call-off under this agreement; - Limiting the permitted total purchase volumes (in euros) for the remaining term of the agreement; - Launching a new procurement procedure to conclude a new agreement during the term of the current agreement. Procedure: open. Review the original TED notice for the complete requirement, lots, amendments and attachments.
