Opportunity description
The purpose of this contract is the complete replacement of the new-generation ZeeWeed® 500D ultrafiltration membrane modules (two remaining trains) and the conversion of all cassettes to the LEAP (Low Energy Advanced Process) system at the Louvain-La-Neuve wastewater treatment plant. The successful tenderer shall provide a complete service comprising dismantling, adaptation of the existing equipment, supply, installation, validation of operation, and operational support for the operating teams: • Adaptation and integration into the LEAP system, particularly through modification of the aeration network at the bottom of the cassettes, adaptation of the suspended arms, verification of mechanical compatibility, adjustment of module clearances, verification of structural integrity after conversion, replacement of damaged or incompatible components, and reprogramming of the air-blowing settings. • Full responsibility for dismantling and removing the existing modules (methodical removal of the cassettes, specialized handling, possible cutting of damaged components, and restoration of the fastening areas) and treatment of all waste through approved channels (plastics, stainless steel, adhesive residues, packing elements, packaging, etc.). • Supply, transport, installation, and complete assembly of the new membrane modules, including assembly within the cassettes, installation in the tank, hydraulic and pneumatic connections, as well as verification of the mechanical integrity of each module before commissioning by qualified personnel using suitable lifting equipment. • At least 6 months before the intervention: complete review of the membrane filtration operating parameters. Air flow rates, permissible air pressures, new air-blowing settings, TMP operating ranges, filtration/backwashing flow rates, alarm and protection thresholds, detachment limits, maximum filtration rates, and suspended solids concentration limits shall be reassessed in order to guarantee the stability of the new configuration. • Provision of complete commissioning protocols, including integrity tests (bubble test), gradual start-up procedures, acceptance criteria, pre-commissioning checklists, as well as detailed maintenance and intensive cleaning protocols. These protocols shall be accompanied by Excel spreadsheets allowing volumes, concentrations, sequence durations, and cleaning frequencies to be adjusted according to the hydraulic load, product concentrations, and site operating conditions. The works shall be organized so as to guarantee continuity of treatment (permit requirement), with at least one train operational at all times. The interventions shall be carried out successively, cassette by cassette, in order to avoid any hydraulic overload or risk of non-compliance. Performance shall also guarantee process reliability and strict compliance with safety and environmental performance standards. Procedure: oth-single.
