Due to a growing need for specific requirements, integration and automation, this system has been almost completely customized and tailored to UZ Leuven over the years. The core of PeopleSoft comprises the HR, Finance and Purchasing modules. In addition, extensive in-house developments have been added, including solutions for manufacturing, facility management, the pharmacy, the CTC (Clinical Trial Center), the ethics committee (EC) and more. UZ Leuven wishes to consolidate PeopleSoft's core functionalities (HR, Finance and Purchasing) into a single new, integrated ERP system, with the option of also connecting the other customized applications to this system. The implementation of the new ERP system will be the subject of another public contract and therefore falls outside the scope of the current public contract.
