The subject matter of this public procurement includes the supply of construction materials for the needs of Krumovgrad Municipality, which, according to their specific characteristics, are divided into 6 lots. The lots and the products included in them, with the indicated estimated quantities, are described in detail in the Technical Specification accompanying this documentation. In accordance with Art. 48, para. 1 of the Public Procurement Act, the necessary characteristics of the subject matter of the public procurement are individually specified in detail in the Technical Specifications of the Contracting Authority’s requirements (“Technical Specifications”) contained in this public procurement documentation. Given the specific nature of this public procurement, the contracting authority provides estimated quantities of the construction materials and equipment to be supplied under each of the lots included in the subject matter of the procurement. The quantities are specified in the technical specification, an integral part of the public procurement documentation, and they are estimates and do not bind the contracting authority to use them in full upon conclusion of a contract. The purchase of the items will be determined according to the contracting authority’s needs as they arise. Complete information regarding the scope, volume and technical requirements for the performance of the public procurement is described and regulated in the “Technical Specification,” an integral part of the participation documentation. Under lots Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, should a need arise during the term of the contract to order other construction materials and equipment different from those specified in the Technical Specification, pursuant to Art. 116, para. 1, item 1 of the Public Procurement Act, they will be awarded through additional agreements, with the total value of all additional agreements being the value of the option, namely up to 10% of the total value of the construction materials and equipment purchased.
