Opportunity description

The project design provides for the complete reconstruction and improvement of Mladezhka Street and Nikola Mushanov Square, expansion of the pedestrian areas with opportunities for organizing cultural and mass events in and around the square space itself. Vehicle traffic along the street is retained, with access to the square provided, while allowing it to be restricted when necessary. All existing plant species are retained, except those designated for removal. New green areas have also been designed. A new network of pedestrian paths with recreation areas and a square space with water features/fountains is to be constructed, as well as a new lighting network, new children’s facilities, new grass and tree landscaping vegetation, together with the construction of new irrigation installations necessary for its proper maintenance. The procedure is launched under the conditions of Art. 114 of ЗОП.
