Bulgaria – Construction work – “Major repair, landscaping and improvement of ‘The Monuments’ Park, Svishtov”

Opportunity description

1. Subject of the public procurement: “Major repair, landscaping and improvement of ‘The Monuments’ Park, Svishtov”. 2. Description of the subject of the public procurement: The subject includes the performance of construction and installation works and activities for the major repair, landscaping and improvement of “The Monuments” Park, in accordance with the approved technical investment project. The planned activities are in implementation of the project “Joint actions for nature, biodiversity and pollution reduction in Svishtov and Zimnicea”, financed under the Interreg VI-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme 2021-2027”. The activities include: - reconstruction and renovation of paths with granite paving – 3603 m2; - Supply and installation of new stone curbs – 1516 linear m; - Installation of stone slabs over a leveled base, 70% old, 30% new based on the original model – 2525 m2; - Supply and installation of stone slabs, including a leveling bedding fraction, for the construction of new stone paving with grass joints – 294 m2; - Rearrangement of stone stair elements – 298 linear m; - Repair of retaining walls – 377 m2; - Construction of energy-efficient park lighting - 84 units and a video surveillance system for increased security; - preservation of the existing trees and shrubs, implementation of phytosanitary measures, and planting of new ornamental vegetation using an environmentally sound approach – evergreen and deciduous trees and shrubs – 1129 units, roses, bulbous and seasonal flowers – 4130 units; - restoration and grassing of damaged green areas with multi-component grass mixtures, without the use of invasive or allergenic species - grassing of 2 decares; - renovation of park furnishings through the installation of benches – 46 units, waste bins – 34 units, and other elements; - supply and installation of bird and bat houses – 30 units and insect hotels – 10 units; - provision of an accessible environment for people with disabilities and construction and marking of a disabled parking space. For the performance of the planned construction and installation works, a technical investment project has been developed with the following parts: “Architecture”, “Structures” (Structural Opinion), “Geodesy”, “Electrical”, “Landscaping and Improvement”. The construction is FIRST CATEGORY, pursuant to Art. 2, para. 12, of Ordinance No. 1 of 30.07.2003 on the nomenclature of types of construction and Art. 137, para. 1, item 1, letter “m” of the Spatial Development Act (ZUT).
