The subject of this public procurement is “Modernization of a composting installation for separately collected biodegradable household waste, located on the premises of the Vidin Regional Landfill for Non-Hazardous Waste, for the needs of the municipalities of Vidin and Kula”. The subject of the procurement includes construction and installation works and the delivery, installation, and commissioning of technological equipment. The public procurement provides for the construction of a metal canopy measuring 29 m x 10 linear m, intended to cover the area containing the added new installation for treating organic waste in an enclosed facility, ensuring an automated process of high-temperature aerobic fermentation and hot-air drying, the receiving hopper, and the service conveyors. The existing open composting technology will be modernized by covering the rows with a specialized semi-permeable cover that ensures optimal aerobic conditions and minimizes odors and infiltration water. The full scope of the modernization activities to be carried out at the existing site of the composting installation is in accordance with the Technical Specification and the technical design. The modernization will be implemented within the existing site of the regional landfill for non-hazardous waste in land property 29043.110.11 (old identifier 110011), land area of the village of Zheglitsa, EKATTE: 29043, Kozya Garbina locality (Ramova Livada).
