Opportunity description

The subject of the public procurement is the selection of a contractor to carry out periodic supplies of prosthetic and impression materials and consumables for prosthetics and dental technology (also referred to as “goods” or “products”) for the needs of the Faculty of Dental Medicine (FDM) and the University Medical and Dental Center (UMDC) at Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" – Varna, in accordance with the attached technical specification (Appendix No. 1), for the purpose of supporting treatment and diagnostic activities during the practical training of students and doctoral students, postgraduate training of doctors of dental medicine, as well as the performance of scientific activities at the FDM and the UMDC. The quantities indicated in the technical specification are estimated for 24 months and will be used to evaluate the tenders. The type and quantities of goods ordered shall be determined by the Contracting Authority depending on its specific needs and financial resources. The Contracting Authority is not bound by an obligation to exhaust the specified maximum permissible value and volume of the contract and reserves the right to order more and/or less than the estimated quantities, including to order products that are not included in the technical specification, under the conditions described in the Instructions, item 5 – Option upon award. Estimated quantity of the public procurement: supply of 4 889 units (item, set, package, roll), in accordance with the attached technical specification (Appendix No. 1). The total estimated value of this public procurement for its performance period is EUR 225 866,67 excluding VAT, which includes: 1. Total value for products included in the technical specification – EUR 210 866,67 excluding VAT and 2. Total value for products not included in the technical specification (option) – EUR 15 000,00 excluding VAT. The specified estimated value represents the maximum permissible value of the public procurement contract, by which the Contracting Authority is limited, but is not obliged to expend it.
