1. Subject of the public procurement: “Supply of organic food products – chicken meat for the needs of social services in the territory of Svishtov Municipality”. 2. Description of the subject of the public procurement: In connection with the implementation of Ordinance No. N-1 of 23 July 2024 on the environmental requirements for certain products subject to public procurement (promulgated in State Gazette No. 64 of 30.07.2024, effective from 14.08.2024), the Contracting Authority designates this public procurement for the supply of organic food products – chicken meat. The subject of the public procurement provides for the supply of organic chicken fillet with an estimated quantity of 1,410 kg and organic chicken with an estimated quantity of 770 kg. The poultry meat must be produced in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2018/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2018 on organic production and the labelling of organic products and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 (OJ L 150, 14.06.2018) (Regulation (EU) 2018/848) and Ordinance No. 5 of 2018 on the implementation of the rules on organic production, labelling and control and on issuing authorization for control activities concerning compliance with the rules of organic production, as well as on the subsequent official supervision of control bodies (State Gazette, No. 75 of 2018). Deliveries will be made 2 (two) times a week, within the established working hours of the respective facility, following the submission of a written request (by email) during the preceding week for the required quantities of products by authorized persons from the specified institutions. For deliveries of the individual types of food products/goods, the packaging requirements specified in this technical specification must be complied with. Each delivery must be accompanied by a document certifying the production date and shelf life of the respective product. For all food products, the quality requirements, the standards of the respective manufacturers, and the applicable legislation of the Republic of Bulgaria and EU regulations governing the production, offering, and transportation of food products in the country must be complied with. The quantities specified in the Technical Specification are estimated (indicative) and are not fixed for the contract performance period. The Contracting Authority reserves the right, during the performance of the contract, to increase or decrease the quantities of the respective food products and goods, as well as not to request the entire assortment, in accordance with the actual consumption needs arising at the facilities served.
