1. Subject of the public procurement: “Supply of organic food products – fruit for the needs of social services in the territory of Svishtov Municipality”. 2. Description of the subject of the public procurement: In connection with the implementation of Ordinance No. N-1 of 23 July 2024 on the environmental requirements for certain products subject to public procurement (promulgated in State Gazette No. 64 of 30.07.2024, effective from 14.08.2024), the Contracting Authority designates this public procurement for the supply of organic food products – fruit. The subject of the public procurement provides for the supply of organic fruit with a total estimated quantity of 6 340 kg. The organic fruit must be produced in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2018/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2018 on organic production and the labelling of organic products and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 (OJ L 150, 14.06.2018) (Regulation (EU) 2018/848) and Ordinance No. 5 of 2018 on the implementation of the rules on organic production, labelling and control and on the issuance of authorisation for control activities concerning compliance with the rules of organic production, as well as on subsequent official supervision of control bodies (State Gazette, No. 75 of 2018). Deliveries will be made 2 (two) times a week, within the established working hours of the respective facility, following submission of a written request (by email) during the preceding week for the required quantities of products by authorised persons from the specified institutions. For deliveries of the individual types of food products/goods, the requirements for their packaging specified in this technical specification must be observed. Each delivery must be accompanied by a document certifying the production date of the respective product and its shelf life. For all food products, the quality requirements, the standards of the respective manufacturers, and the applicable statutory instruments of the Republic of Bulgaria and EU regulations governing the production, offering and transportation of food products in the country must be observed. The quantities specified in the technical specification are estimated (indicative) rather than fixed for the contract performance period. The Contracting Authority reserves the right, during performance of the contract, to increase or decrease the quantities of the respective food products and goods, as well as not to order the entire assortment, in connection with the actual consumption needs arising at the facilities served.
