Bulgaria – Insurance services – Provision of insurance services for the needs of “Gradski transport” EAD – Varna, in 7 lots

Opportunity description

Lot No. 1 - “Property” insurance for buildings owned by the company. Lot No. 2 - “Property” insurance for the contact network. Lot No. 3 - “Motor vehicle Casco” insurance covering all risks, including theft, based on their book value, which also covers permanently installed road safety system equipment. Lot No. 4 - “Motor Third-Party Liability” insurance – in accordance with the Insurance Code. Lot No. 5 - Compulsory “Accident” insurance for public transport passengers. Lot No. 6 - “Accident” insurance for drivers and seats in company vehicles. Lot No. 7 - “Occupational Accident” insurance for 720 workers and employees of the Contracting Authority. The overall period for performance of this contract is 36 (thirty-six) months, with the insurance policies being concluded for every 12 months (for each of the lots) of the entire contract period. If any of the existing insurance policies expires after the date of conclusion of the contract, its validity shall commence from the date of issuance of the new policy for a period of 12 months. The term of the insurance policies for each of the lots is 12 months, and after its expiry, following an update of the assets subject to insurance, the lists of motor vehicles and the lists of employees, a new policy shall be issued for a further period of 12 months by means of an assignment letter from the Contracting Authority. Compulsory “Accident” insurance for passengers in public transport, with the insurance premium determined based on the revenue pursuant to the contract for the provision of public passenger transport. For the purposes of the procedure, as of the opening date, the revenue amounts to EUR 9,100,995.49, and tenderers shall quote the premium in their price proposal based on this information. After signing the performance contract, upon renewal of the policy, the Contracting Authority shall provide the Contractor with up-to-date information on the amount of revenue. ​​​​​​​ Procedure: open.
