Bulgaria – Interpretation services – Provision of consecutive interpretation and written translation under the strategic project FLAMESHIELD.

Opportunity description

1. The public procurement covers the provision of consecutive interpretation and written translation from Bulgarian into Turkish and vice versa, and from Bulgarian into English and vice versa at events within the strategic project FLAMESHIELD “Increasing the capacity for prevention and response in the event of disasters in the cross-border region of Bulgaria and Turkey,” funded under the INTERREG VI-A Bulgaria–Turkey 2021-2027 Programme. 2. Quantity or scope of the procurement: 2.1. Provision of consecutive interpretation from Bulgarian into Turkish and vice versa and from Bulgarian into English and vice versa, for a total of 125 clock hours, as follows: 2.1.1. Three-day event – a total of 12 (twelve) hours: - first day: official opening of the project, a total of 3 (three) hours - first meeting of the joint management team over two days – first day, a total of 6 (six) hours, and second day, a total of 3 (three) hours; 2.1.2. Joint meetings for the development of standard operating procedures - 3 (three) in number, a total of 33 (thirty-three) hours: For each meeting, two interpreters – 11 (eleven) hours: - first day - 5 (five) hours; - second and third days – 3 (three) hours each; 2.1.3. Two-day meeting for the development of training materials - 1 (one) in number, a total of 11 (eleven) hours: - first day 6 hours; - second day – 5 hours; 2.1.4. Three-day training sessions for volunteers and professionals - 2 (two) in number, 24 (twenty-four) hours each, a total of 48 (forty-eight) hours: - first day – 6 (six) hours each; - second and third days – 3 (three) hours each; 2.1.5. Two-day meeting for the planning and preparation of a joint field exercise - 1 (one) in number, a total of 12 (twelve) hours; 2.1.6. Joint field exercise - 1 (one) in number, a total of 6 (six) hours; 2.1.7. Final press conference - 1 (one) in number, a total of 3 (three) hours; 2.2. Written translation of joint procedures and rapid response plans: - from Bulgarian into English and vice versa – 150 pages; - from Bulgarian into Turkish and vice versa – 150 pages. Procedure: open.
