The subject matter of this public procurement includes the provision of post-warranty maintenance of IT equipment in 3 (three) lots, as follows: - Lot No. 1 “Post-warranty maintenance of virtual servers”; - Lot No. 2 “Post-warranty maintenance of servers, software for virtualization and centralized management of a virtual environment, data backup software, disk arrays and other active equipment”; - Lot No. 3 “Post-warranty maintenance of multifunction devices and software for centralized print management with the corresponding licenses (print server)”. The requirements for the provision of post-warranty maintenance of IT equipment are set out in the technical specifications for the respective lots (Appendix No. 1.1, Appendix No. 1.2 and Appendix No. 1.3), which form part of the tender documentation. The subject matter of this public procurement under Lot No. 1 “Post-warranty maintenance of virtual servers” includes the provision of post-warranty software support for 8 (eight) virtual servers running the SCO UNIX OpenServer 5 operating system with an installed application – AIS “Integrated Regional Police System” (IRPS), as well as support for the IBM Informix database management system (DBMS) for the application, including: on-site support, telephone and email support, recovery of the servers for the application and the DBMS in emergency situations, resolution of problems related to errors during operation of the systems, reinstallation where necessary, configuration, settings, optimization, expert consultations, software updates and functionality checks. The implementation of the specified activities will ensure the normal functioning of the virtual servers, which in turn guarantees the trouble-free performance of the daily tasks assigned to the employees of the General Directorate “Border Police” and its territorial units. The subject matter of this public procurement under Lot No. 2 “Post-warranty maintenance of servers, software for virtualization and centralized management of a virtual environment, data backup software, disk arrays and other active equipment” includes post-warranty maintenance of 24 (twenty-four) servers, 3 (three) disk arrays, virtualization system software – Vмware, and backup software – Commvault Complete Backup & Recovery. Post-warranty maintenance includes on-site support, telephone and email support, resolution of problems related to errors during operation of the systems, reinstallation where necessary, configuration, settings, optimization, expert consultations, periodic technical inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates and functionality checks. The provision of equivalent licenses for virtualization system software and backup software is permitted. The contractor shall activate the licenses provided, following the manufacturer’s best practices and procedures. The implementation of the specified activities will ensure the normal functioning of the servers, disk arrays, virtualization system software and backup software, which in turn guarantees the trouble-free performance of the daily tasks assigned to the employees of the General Directorate “Border Police” and its territorial units. The subject matter of this public procurement under Lot No. 3 “Post-warranty maintenance of multifunction devices and software for centralized print management with the corresponding licenses (print server)” includes the provision of post-warranty maintenance for 59 (fifty-nine) multifunction devices and 1 (one) item of software for centralized print management with the corresponding licenses (print server), which are owned by the GDBP. Post-warranty maintenance includes on-site support, telephone and email support, restoration of the software for centralized print management with the corresponding licenses (print server), resolution of problems, reinstallation where necessary, configuration, settings, optimization and consultations by qualified experts, periodic technical inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates and functionality checks. The implementation of the specified activities will ensure the normal functioning of the technical equipment, which in turn guarantees the trouble-free performance of the daily tasks assigned to the employees of the General Directorate “Border Police” and its territorial units.
