The subject matter of the public procurement comprises activities for the collection, transportation and disposal/treatment of hazardous and other waste from the activities of UMHAT “Sveta Anna” – Sofia AD. Collection shall be carried out from the healthcare facility’s central collection site. The collection and transportation of hazardous waste shall be carried out according to a schedule, and for some of the activities – upon request. Number of visits to the healthcare facility – at least twice a week /according to an approved schedule/, and, if necessary, upon an additional request sent to the Contractor by e-mail. The response time for an emergency call shall be proposed by the tenderer, in hours, but shall not exceed 4 hours from submission of the notification. The service shall be performed using transport owned by the Contractor. The Contractor undertakes to collect the waste using its own containers, the size and characteristics of which are described in the requirements for each separate lot. The quantities for the activities in the specification attached to the documentation for participation in the procedure shall depend on the Contracting Authority’s specific stated needs during the term of the contract – 36 months from its conclusion. The individual types of activities for the collection, transportation and disposal of hazardous waste are divided into two separate lots, as follows: 1. Lot No. 1: Collection, transportation and disposal/treatment of hazardous waste and collection, transportation and recovery/recycling of other waste from the activities of UMHAT “Sveta Anna” – Sofia AD 2. Lot No. 2: Collection, transportation and disposal of chemicals Tenders may be submitted for one or more lots. Participation for a lot is comprehensive, with tenderers submitting only one tender for performance of the contract, and the submission of variants is not permitted. Lot No. 1 covers activities for the collection, transportation and disposal/treatment of hazardous waste and the collection, transportation and recovery/recycling of other waste from the activities of UMHAT “Sveta Anna” – Sofia AD. The nature, schedule, codes of the individual waste streams from the activities of UMHAT “Sveta Anna” – Sofia AD and the estimated quantity of the activities under Lot No. 1 are described in detail in a technical specification forming an integral part of the documentation for this public procurement. The Contractor shall collect waste with codes 18 01 01, 18 01 02, 18 01 03*, 18 01 08*, 18 01 09, 18 01 10* and 20 01 21* using its own containers with a capacity of between 200 and 250 litres, /at least 90 units/, provided free of charge to the Contracting Authority for the term of the contract. The Contractor shall collect waste with codes 20 01 33* and 20 01 34 using its own containers with a capacity of between 20 and 70 litres, /at least 5 units/, provided free of charge to the Contracting Authority for the term of the contract. The Contractor shall collect waste with code 20 01 35* using its own containers with a capacity of up to 1000 litres, /at least 2 units/, provided free of charge to the Contracting Authority for the term of the contract. Waste with code 20 01 21* shall be stored and transported in receptacles that prevent breakage of the lamps, in accordance with the requirements of the Ordinance on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. Waste with codes 20 01 33* and 20 01 34 shall be stored and transported in containers ensuring ventilation, in accordance with the Ordinance on Batteries and Accumulators and Waste Batteries and Accumulators. Waste with code 20 01 35* shall be stored and transported in containers made of rigid, impermeable, puncture-resistant material, in accordance with the Ordinance on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. Lot No. 2 covers activities for the collection, transportation and disposal of chemicals from the activities of UMHAT “Sveta Anna” – Sofia AD. The nature, schedule, codes of the individual waste streams from the activities of UMHAT “Sveta Anna” – Sofia AD and the estimated quantity of the activities under Lot No. 2 are described in detail in a technical specification forming an integral part of the documentation for this public procurement. The Contractor shall collect waste with codes 18 01 06 and 18 01 07 using its own containers/receptacles with a capacity of between 50 and 150 litres, /at least 5 units/, provided free of charge to the Contracting Authority for the term of the contract.
