Opportunity description

The total quantity of waste expected to be generated over 24 /twenty-four/ months is approximately 10 200 /ten thousand two hundred/ tonnes. The stated quantity is not constant for the contract performance period and does not bind the Contracting Authority to reaching or exceeding it. Waste collection and transportation will be carried out in the 4 settlements of Knezha Municipality – the town of Knezha as the administrative centre and 3 villages: Brenitsa, Enitsa and Lazarovo. The Contractor shall perform the activity that is the subject of the procurement using equipment, machinery and personnel that the Contractor has at its disposal on a lawful basis. By carrying out waste collection and transportation activities in the territory of the 4 settlements in Knezha Municipality, in compliance with the requirements of national waste management legislation, efforts are made to ensure normal sanitary and hygienic living conditions throughout the municipality, prevent the contamination of public areas with household waste, and prevent the formation of unauthorised dumpsites. The operational municipal solid waste (MSW) landfill serving Knezha Municipality is located in the town of Oryahovo /40 km from the town of Knezha/. Procedure: open. Estimated value: 570,000 EUR.
