Opportunity description

The public procurement includes preventive technical maintenance and repair to maintain the operational condition, reliability and availability of the equipment at the Kozloduy NPP site by means of: 1. Performance of technical maintenance at intervals determined by the manufacturer’s documentation and agreed with the Contracting Authority. 2. Repair consisting of the elimination of defects within a period specified by the Technological Regulations. 3. Supply of spare parts related to technical maintenance and repair. 4. Examination of the systems, creation of a failure database, failure analysis and provision of proposals for increasing reliability, extending service life and managing residual service life. The scope and requirements for the performance of the public procurement are set out in detail in Technical Specification No 25.АЕЦ.ТЗ.699. Technical maintenance is a set of activities performed periodically and in full in order to comply with the equipment manufacturer’s recommendations and requirements, as well as the relevant standards, to ensure the accident-free operation of the equipment, systems and components covered by the Technical Specification. 2. Repair consisting of the elimination of defects within a period specified by the Technological Regulations, performance of activities to restore the equipment to working order and the ability of failed instruments, systems and components to perform their assigned functions within the design characteristics and criteria. Repairs may be scheduled and unscheduled. 3. Supply of spare parts related to technical maintenance and repair. Equipment, spare parts, materials, consumables, reagents, chemical reagents, chemicals, etc. are supplied for carrying out TM and repair activities or for replacing items with exhausted service life, as necessary to eliminate defects/malfunctions and restore the operation and characteristics of the equipment and systems. Equipment, spare parts, materials, consumables, reagents, chemical reagents, chemicals, etc. are supplied to replenish the Contracting Authority’s emergency reserve. 4. Examination of the systems, creation of a failure database, failure analysis and provision of proposals for increasing reliability, extending service life and managing residual service life. The recurrence of failures/defects and their causes is analyzed on the basis of information in the contractor’s own TM and repair databases, and the Contracting Authority is offered preventive actions, corrections, reworking or corrective actions for specific equipment/systems/components.
