The subject of this public procurement includes engineering - design, execution of construction and installation works (conservation, reinforcement, protective and accompanying activities for the preservation of uncovered archaeological structures, including the design and construction of protective coverings (shelter/s) over uncovered archaeological sites) and designer’s supervision of the site “Single Archaeological Immovable Cultural Property Almus – early and late Roman castellum, early Byzantine fortified settlement and adjacent necropolis”, Lom, with the aim of stabilizing their physical condition, preventing further degradation and providing protection, in full compliance with the applicable legislation in the field of cultural heritage. The activities envisaged under the project, related to the conservation archaeology of the site “Almus – early and late Roman castellum, early Byzantine fortified settlement and adjacent necropolis”, Lom, constitute construction within the meaning of the Spatial Development Act. Pursuant to the provisions of the Spatial Development Act and in view of the site’s status as a single archaeological immovable cultural property (SAICP) with the category “national significance” pursuant to Order No. РД9Р-10/01.04.2024 of the Ministry of Culture, the investment proposal falls under First-category construction works pursuant to Art. 137, para. 1, item 1, letter “m” of the Spatial Development Act.
