Bulgaria – Sludge treatment services – “Provision of services for the transportation and recovery of stabilized sludge (waste code 19 08 05) resulting from wastewater treatment at WWTPs operated by ViK Stara Zagora”

Opportunity description

The subject matter of this procurement will cover services for the acceptance, transportation and recovery of waste with code 19 08 05, classified in accordance with Ordinance No. 2 of 23.07.2014 on the classification of waste generated by the activities of WWTPs operated by “ViK” EOOD - Stara Zagora as a result of wastewater treatment. The objective is to ensure the acceptance, transportation and recovery of the cited waste at a site that holds the relevant permit documents. Each participant in the award procedure is required to participate for the entire scope of the public procurement. The estimated quantity of waste with code 19 08 05 (Sludge from the treatment of urban wastewater) to be accepted and recovered over 12 (twelve) months is 9,000 tonnes. The participant designated as the Contractor will carry out the acceptance and transportation of waste with code 19 08 05 on working days, during the working hours of the WWTPs, following a request from the Contracting Authority specifying particular parameters or according to an agreed schedule. Each request will be delivered personally to an authorized representative of the Contractor, by post with acknowledgment of receipt, by hand against signature, or by e-mail. The transfer and acceptance of the waste will be certified by a handover and acceptance protocol prepared on the basis of weighbridge tickets accompanying the acceptance of each waste delivery and signed by representatives of the Contracting Authority and the Contractor.
