Opportunity description

The subject of this contract is a service involving the clearing of the right-of-way zone (right-of-way) affecting land properties in forest territories and outside forest territories (urbanized, agricultural, protected, disturbed territories for restoration) of the Prespa 110 kV power line (Overhead Line (OHL)), part of the transmission network of the Republic of Bulgaria. The Prespa 110 kV OHL was commissioned in 1962, and the OHL was reconstructed in 2017; it constitutes the connection between the Northern Rhodopes substation and the Smolyan substation and is maintained by the Plovdiv Electricity Transmission Region Department, Smolyan Division. The Prespa 110 kV OHL has a nominal voltage of 110 kV, with one three-phase circuit on the tower line and a triangular arrangement of the phase conductors. The route of the Prespa 110 kV OHL passes through various categories of territories, including mountainous or rugged terrain, some parts of which have no roads and where access by machinery is difficult. Clearing the right-of-way is an activity that includes: - removal of trees, shrubs and branches within the right-of-way on land properties in forest territories, constituting a clearing; - removal and pruning of individual trees, shrubs and branches within the right-of-way on land properties outside forest territories; - moving the felled timber mass to the left and/or right boundary of the right-of-way so that the strip between the outermost conductors is cleared; - felling and transport of timber to a temporary storage site (logging). Clearing the right-of-way (the clearing) is required in connection with the requirements of Art. 765 of НТЕЕЦМ and Regulation No. 16 of 2004 on the rights-of-way of energy facilities, through the removal of trees, shrubs and shoots and the removal of felled trees, branches, shrubs, shoots, treetops, waste, dry timber mass and unusable timber outside the clearing, the requirements of ЗГ and the other secondary legislation.
