Opportunity description

The subject of this procurement is a service comprising the clearing of the right-of-way zone (right-of-way) affecting land properties in forest and non-forest territories (urbanized, agricultural, protected, disturbed territories for restoration) of the 110 kV Nastan power line (Overhead Line (OHL)), part of the transmission network of the Republic of Bulgaria. The 110 kV Nastan OHL was commissioned in 2012, constitutes the connection between the Devin HPP and the Tsankov Kamak HPP, and is serviced by the Plovdiv Electricity Transmission Region Directorate, Smolyan Department. The 110 kV Nastan OHL has a nominal voltage of 110 kV, with one three-phase circuit on the tower line and a triangular arrangement of the phase conductors. The route of the 110 kV Nastan OHL passes through various categories of territory, including mountainous or rugged terrain, some parts of which have no roads and where access by machinery is difficult. Clearing the right-of-way is an activity that includes: - removal of trees, shrubs and branches within the right-of-way on land properties in forest territories, constituting a clearing corridor; - removal and pruning of individual trees, shrubs and branches within the right-of-way on land properties outside forest territories; - moving the felled timber to the left and/or right boundary of the right-of-way so that the strip between the outermost conductors is cleared; - felling and transportation of timber to a temporary storage site (logging). Clearing the right-of-way (clearing corridor) is necessary in connection with the requirements of Art. 765 of NTEEСM and Ordinance No. 16 of 2004 on the rights-of-way of energy facilities, by removing trees, shrubs and shoots and moving the felled trees, branches, shrubs, shoots, treetops, waste, dry timber and unusable timber outside the clearing corridor, the requirements of the Forestry Act and other secondary legislation. ​​​​​​​ Procedure: open.
