Croatia – Construction work for pipelines, communication and power lines – Drainage system for the Drenovac-Bučje-Zagrađe settlements in the Brodski Drenovac agglomeration area - Bučje-Zagrađe section and UPOV

Opportunity description

The subject of the procurement is the construction of a gravity sewer network in the settlements of Bučje and Zagrađe, using PVC DN 315 mm pipes over a length of 5.525 m, PVC DN 250 mm pipes over a length of 382 m, PVC DN 160 pipes over a length of 1 360 m, the construction of a pressurized sewer over a length of 1 845 m using PEHD DN 110 mm pipes, and three (3) pumping stations that must be connected to the sewerage monitoring and control system, as well as the construction of a UPOV in the settlement of Brodski Drenovac with a capacity of 1.300 PE and treatment level II, which must be connected to the sewerage monitoring and control system. The works include preparatory works, trench excavation, grading of the bottom, construction of the bedding for laying pipes, supply, transport and installation of PVC and PEHD pipes, construction of pipe encasement, backfilling the remainder of the trench with excavated material and replacement material, removal of excess soil material, construction of manholes, CCTV inspection, watertightness testing, and restoration of asphalt surfaces. Wastewater treatment will be carried out using a standard treatment unit with a capacity of 1.300 PE and treatment level II, activated sludge treatment with extended aeration and simultaneous sludge stabilization, conventional technology without primary sludge, with a centrally located secondary settling tank. The designed unit consists of an inlet channel with a bar screen and flow meter, a bioaeration tank with a secondary settling tank and aeration system, an outlet inspection manhole, an excess sludge silo, and an engine room with a compressor station and a monitoring and control center. Following completion of the construction, mechanical and electrical works, testing, and commissioning, a two-month trial operation is planned, during which the Contracting Authority's personnel will be trained. Permanent staffing is not required for operation of the unit, and monitoring and control are performed remotely from the central wastewater treatment plant of the city of Požega (CUPOV).
