Opportunity description

The subject matter of the public contract is the preparation of demolition works documentation, including the engineering activities necessary to obtain a demolition permit, a technical study, discussion of the solution for the documentation for project authorization („DPZ“), and the preparation of project documentation for construction execution, including individual statements in the documentary section from the authorities and institutions concerned, both during its preparation and after completion of the final version and its approval by the administrators and the contracting authority, within the scope of Stage 1 of the construction, from Přemyslova St. to Husovo Sq. The performance includes, inter alia, the preparation of a demolition project for the existing houses along the eastern edge of the street between Přemyslova and Kollárova streets, including obtaining a demolition permit. The anticipated scope and location are based on the study „Kotkova – Korandova Connection“ from 06/2024, prepared by the Concept and Development Department of the City of Plzeň. The objective of the construction modifications in Kotkova – Korandova streets is to design a transport connection that would divert part of the traffic from Klatovská Avenue, as envisaged by the measure „C3 Traffic calming on Klatovská, Kotkova – Korandova connection“, which forms part of the conceptual document „Revitalization of the Central Area (ÚKRMP, 05/2021)“. Under the current structural arrangement, this diversion of the traffic load along the north-south axis is not possible. The objective is also to increase safety and comfort for pedestrians and cyclists, improve conditions for their movement, and comprehensively revitalize the streets concerned, including the replacement and addition of missing utility networks, as well as adding provisions for trolleybus overhead contact lines.
