Czechia – Banking services – Payment gateway for selected sales channels

Opportunity description

The subject matter of the public contract is the provision of payment gateway services to enable electronic payments through selected mutually independent sales channels comprising mobile applications and online stores (hereinafter referred to as the “e-shop”). The sales channels are currently divided according to the type of electronic documents sold/distributed. The contracting authority does not rule out the future expansion of sales channels. 1) The PIDLítačka mobile and web application, which are intended for the sale of electronic fares (EJ). The mobile application and e-shop sales channel are developed to facilitate the purchase of electronic fares for the established multi-channel check-in system in public transport. The standard sales channel remains in-person counters equipped with multifunctional payment terminals for cashless payments. 2) A mobile and web application for the sale of parking fees, which are intended for the sale of electronic parking fees (EP). 3) The IDOLKA mobile and web application, which are intended for the sale of electronic fares (EJ). Common requirements for sales channels The principal anticipated number, volume and aggregate financial value of transactions relates to the PIDLítačka sales channel. These anticipated annual values are set out in Annex 3, which will subsequently also be used for evaluation purposes. The contracting authority draws the participants’ attention to the fact that these are estimates based on the existing volume values of fare sales through the sales channels. The final volumes will depend on the extent and speed of the integration of electronic fare media and on market mechanisms. For the e-shop, cashless payments by at least MasterCard and Visa bank cards are required, as well as the following payment methods: cashless payments through transfers to bank accounts, cashless payments using the payment applications of individual banks (so-called bank buttons).
