Opportunity description
The subject of the public contract is the construction of a new tourist information center, the reconstruction of the existing engine house, compressor house, and two winding towers, as part of the revitalization of the former Gabriela black coal mine site in Karviná. The mine has been closed since 2000 and is protected as a cultural monument. The tourist information center building will serve the entire site and will include a bistro providing services to visitors to the site. Following the completion of the construction of POHO Park Gabriela, these buildings will be used for civic amenities and cultural, social, and sporting events. The revitalization of the former Gabriela mine site will also include landscaping, including the construction of an irrigation system on the green roof of the new tourist information center, the construction of a parking lot, and the modification of a new paved pedestrian area between the turning area and the existing engine house building for relaxation and outdoor activities. This area will be equipped with the necessary connections for electricity, water, and waste systems, enabling large public events to be held. For further details, see ZD. Procedure: open. Estimated value: 473,941,030.93 CZK. Review the original TED notice for the complete requirement, lots, amendments and attachments.
