Opportunity description

The subject of the public contract is the performance of geological exploration work at the Březový potok, Horka, Hrádek and Janoch sites. More detailed specifications in the procurement documentation. The subject of this part is the execution of core drilling work, i.e. 4 core boreholes approximately 600 m deep, preparatory work for the execution of the boreholes, including the implementation of measures to address conflicts of interest for the borehole locations and access roads, final work at the drilling sites and handover of the land, communication support for SÚRAO, data management of primary data and their interpretation. If unstable sections of the boreholes occur that will need to be stabilized, for example by grouting, basic hydrodynamic tests will also form part of this performance. Groundwater samples will be taken from these sections if there is sufficient inflow. Laboratory and chemical analyses, including selected trace elements and radioactivity indicators, will be performed on the collected water samples. An integral part of this performance will also be the preparation of a final report on the drilling work, which will also include an evaluation of the hydrogeological work. The subject of this part is the performance of geomechanical tests for the 4 completed core boreholes in order to obtain the full stress tensor. Specifically, this involves the interpretation of borehole logging data obtained in Part 2, focused on identifying borehole breakout zones (borehole ovalization and ABI + OBI records), and in-situ measurement of the stress state of the rock mass in each of the completed boreholes.
