Opportunity description
The subject of the public contract is equipment that must enable the precise cutting of electrical steel sheets in a thickness range from 0.1 mm to 1 mm with an accuracy better than 7 μm. The equipment must be capable of cutting electrical steel sheets with minimal impact on the magnetic properties of the metal being cut and its insulating layer (burr), while at the same time there must be no spattering of the cut material by metal from the cut itself (splash). The material expected to be cut will be electrical steel sheets based on an iron-silicon alloy with a silicon content of up to 4 percent and an insulating layer on both sides. The minimum working area of the equipment must be 550 x 550 mm. It must be possible to use compressed air as the cooling gas. The equipment must enable remote management and servicing and provide remote alerts. The equipment must be equipped with an automated system for loading semi-finished products and removing finished products so that it is capable of operating autonomously without intervention by human operators.
