Czechia – Restoration work – Reconstruction of the Faculty of Civil Engineering – Building B – repeated procedure

Opportunity description

The purpose of the Public Contract is to carry out the complete reconstruction of the existing building of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague – Building B, at Thákurova 2077/7, 166 29 Prague 6 (hereinafter referred to as the “Construction”), in order to ensure that, upon completion, the Construction is a modern, environmentally friendly and healthy 21st-century building achieving excellent energy performance parameters. At the same time, the Construction must be fully adapted to its purpose, namely to provide comfortable and functional facilities for educating students, as well as for the teaching, research, professional and other activities of the academic staff and other employees of the Contracting Authority. The subject of the procurement procedure is the conclusion of a contract for work for the performance of the subject matter of the Public Contract (hereinafter referred to as the “Contract”). The subject matter of the Public Contract is the preparation of construction execution documentation and the performance of construction work for the reconstruction of the Faculty of Civil Engineering – Building B (hereinafter referred to as the “Work”), including all supplies of technologies. The subject matter of the Public Contract therefore comprises both services for the design of the Work and construction work for its implementation, including commissioning the Work in accordance with its purpose. All of this shall be carried out in the manner and under the conditions specified in the Contract. The subject matter of the Public Contract is the provision of work relating to the design and implementation of the Construction, comprising in particular the following activities: a) obtaining all necessary permits, statements, consents, opinions and other documents required by the legal system for the execution and use of the Construction; b) preparation/modification of the documentation for project authorization, construction execution documentation and as-built documentation; c) complete implementation of the Construction, including the supply of technologies; d) arranging trial operation of the Construction; e) arranging final approval of the Construction; f) providing a warranty for the mechanical and technological parts of the Construction for a period of 60 months; g) providing a warranty for the structural parts of the Construction for a period of 60 months; h) implementing energy management of the Construction for the duration of the Trial Operation.
