Opportunity description

The subject matter of the public contract comprises supplies, services and necessary related construction works required for the implementation of the Development of the Olomouc Traffic Information Centre project. The subject matter of the public contract is the preparation of project documentation, obtaining the necessary permits and implementation of a technological solution for the development of the Traffic Information Centre of the statutory city of Olomouc in the form of Design & Build. The performance includes, in particular, the modernisation of the server and communication infrastructure, implementation of cooperative intelligent transport systems (C-ITS) and expansion of the equipment of traffic-light-controlled intersections, including units for vehicle–infrastructure communication. The contract also includes the construction of a system for collecting and evaluating traffic and climate data through a sensor network, installation of a video-detection server and integration of external traffic data. The solution also includes making data accessible and publishing it through the municipal data platform and open-data portal. The public contract is implemented in the form of performance or functional requirements (also referred to as the Design & Build method). As part of the performance of the public contract, the selected supplier shall ensure: - completion or preparation of all supporting documents, in particular production, implementation, workshop or project documentation, required for the implementation of the project, - engineering activities for the purpose of obtaining all necessary decisions, permits, opinions and other acts of the relevant state administration or local government authorities required for the implementation of the project, - provision of supplies of all products, equipment, technologies, applications, software and other elements required for the implementation of the project, - provision of all services, works and activities required for the implementation of the project, - performance of all necessary related construction works required for the implementation of the project, - all other works and activities required for the implementation of the project, - commissioning of the system, - operation of the system (including servicing and maintenance) for the specified period.
