Opportunity description

The subject of this public contract entitled “Internal Transport Management” is the creation, delivery and implementation of a new application for managing the contracting authority’s internal transport and the provision of subsequent support and development of this application for a period of 48 months, with an option for an additional 48 months. The subject of the public contract is not divided into lots due to its integrated nature. The internal transport management application will be intended primarily for the administration and online management, monitoring, planning of the use and utilization of the contracting authority’s Internal Transport vehicle fleet based on data recorded in telemetry devices installed in the contracting authority’s vehicles, the plan of orders for services, the availability of resource capacities, including data from related application systems used within DPP, followed by an evaluation of vehicle utilization for operational management and management reports. The application will be implemented in the customer’s environment. The contracting authority currently has GPS units, which it also expects to use as part of the performance by the selected supplier under this public contract. Given that the existing GPS units are older and could pose operational problems during the implementation of the selected supplier’s application, the public contract includes an obligation for the selected supplier to deliver to the contracting authority and install up to 450 GPS units, including a communication server, RFID readers and all warranty servicing (on-site), all necessary SW and other related activities, to the extent specified in the contracting authority’s individual orders. This possibility (option) will be used by the contracting authority particularly in the event of the anticipated termination of support for the 2G network, in the event of failures of the existing units or their poorer functionality and compatibility with the selected supplier’s application.
