Czechia – Transport services (excl. Waste transport) – Transport of artworks for the exhibition »Jaroslav Čermák – Myths of European Reality«

Opportunity description

The subject of the public contract is the transport of artworks from the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Montenegro, Croatia, Serbia and the Czech Republic from the places (cities) of dispatch of the artworks in Amsterdam, Brussels, Dodrecht, Twente, Antvepr, Tournai, Paris, Zagreb, Cetinje, Novi Sad and Prague for an exhibition entitled “Jaroslav Čermák – Myths of European Reality”, which will be organized by the Prague City Gallery (hereinafter also referred to only as “GHMP”) in the exhibition spaces of the Municipal Library at Mariánské náměstí 98/1, Prague 1. The exhibition will take place from 03. 11. 2026 to 28. 02. 2027. This involves the provision of comprehensive transport services consisting of the transport of the artworks specified in Annex No. 28.4 to the procurement documentation (List of Loans) and the provision of related services specified in Art. 2.3 and Art. 11 of the procurement documentation, in the legend to the Tender Price Form table in Annex No. 28.2 to the procurement documentation and in Annex No. 28.4 to the procurement documentation. The places of dispatch of the artworks during transport to the exhibition, as well as the destinations (delivery locations) during transport from the exhibition back to the lenders, and the transport conditions are specified in detail in Annex No. 28.4 to the procurement documentation. The subject of the public contract also includes the manufacture or rental and storage of transport crates, transport frames when using soft material, loading and packing the works at the lenders’ premises, transporting the works, unloading the crates containing the artworks, arranging courier services (payment of per diems, securing accommodation, transport from Václav Havel Airport and airline tickets), and carrying the works, in accordance with the instructions of the exhibition curator, the lenders’ couriers and GHMP employees, to the GHMP exhibition spaces on the 4th floor of the Municipal Library (there is a passenger lift in the building). Furthermore, after the exhibition ends, it includes bringing the stored transport crates, carrying them to the Municipal Library’s exhibition spaces on the 4th floor of the Municipal Library, packing the lenders’ artworks, carrying them down and arranging services for couriers (securing airline tickets and transport to Václav Havel Airport) after the exhibition ends, and transporting the artworks back to the lenders. The list of works and, for some exhibits, the insured values are provided in Annex No. 28.4 to the procurement documentation.
