Opportunity description

Arwos needs a new billing system that can support Arwos’ overall billing and customer-facing processes for the relevant utility types, including drinking water, wastewater and waste collection. The system must be able to handle Danish utility billing practices, including fees, taxes, payment and reminder processes, and must be able to integrate with Arwos’ other systems, including the financial system, meter data system and waste collection contractor system. If this is not the case, Arwos will not be able to carry out a comprehensive and correct billing process without manual workflows, risk of errors in customer and consumption data, and a lack of coherence between billing, collection, customer service and bookkeeping. Arwos has investigated the market for billing systems for Danish utility companies. The combined minimum requirements for an operational, integrated and documented billing system based on a cloud solution that can be used for Danish utility billing are met only by the solution from Elbek & Vejrup, and therefore there are no other suppliers that can deliver the necessary billing system to Arwos as a reasonable alternative.
