The Canadian Coast Guard has a requirement for the drydocking and refit of the Canadian Coast Guard Ship CCGS Franklin. The work period for the refit is 28 October 2026 to 18 December 2026. A bidders' conference will be held in Sidney, BC. Arrangements have been made for a site visit to be held onboard the vessel immediately after the bidders’ conference. The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the Area of Origin of the vessel (Western Canada). Canada has made a booking of the Esquimalt Graving Dock, with the dock booked between October 28th and December 4, 2026. There is a further booking for space alongside the Esquimalt Graving Dock for the period of December 4 to 18, 2026. Alternatively, the work may occur at the bidder's drydocking facility provided their facility meets the requirements defined in this solicitation. Procurement method: Competitive - Open bidding.
