Opportunity description
The Wellbeing Services County of Central Ostrobothnia, Soite, is procuring, as a purchased service, Lot 1 primary healthcare ultrasound examinations performed by a specialist in radiology and Lot 2 radiological reports (reports concerning CT and plain examinations). With regard to reports, the service is procured to the extent that the contracting authority is unable to provide the services itself (so-called overflow purchase). The planned contract period for the procurement is 1 November 2026–31 October 2028, with a possible option for the periods 1 November 2028–31 October 2029 + 1 November 2029–31 October 2030. The ultrasound examinations will be performed as a local service on the premises of the radiology department of Soite Central Hospital, using the central hospital's equipment and with the assistance of Soite personnel during office hours. The service provider must be capable of performing examinations on at least 3–4 days per month. The contracting authority and the service providers will agree on the specific dates during the contract period approximately 2 months in advance. Reports on plain and CT examinations will be produced remotely through Soite's VMware Horizon service portal. The reports will be produced using Tieto's Lifecare Imaging workflow management system, which is accessed using a professional ID card. For remote dictation, the service provider must, at its own expense, have appropriately secured connections to the contracting authority's information systems and image-viewing and dictation conditions that meet STUK's quality criteria. Patient data must be processed securely so that only those participating in the treatment have access to the data. Ultrasound examinations and reporting service. See Annex 1 Service Description. Reporting service for plain and CT examinations. See Annex 1 Service Description. Procedure: open. Review the original TED notice for the complete requirement, lots, amendments and attachments.
