Opportunity description

The procurement concerned the acquisition of XR studio technology and the related support and maintenance services. The equipment will be used at Yleisradio Oy’s premises in Pasila, Helsinki, Vaasa and Tampere. The procurement is divided into two (2) lots as follows: 1. XR Solution: - Virtual production solution licenses; - I/O hardware, SMPTE 2110 and SDI desktop video cards; - Support and maintenance services, support and maintenance services available for at least five (5) years under the agreement (referred to as “Services”). 2. Tracking Solution - Tracking hardware unit, consisting of a single, camera-mounted optical tracking unit for marker tracking, and a separate standalone data processing hardware suitable for studio environment use; - Tracking solution licenses; - Support and maintenance services, support and maintenance services available for at least five (5) years under the agreement (referred to as “Services”). One (1) supplier was selected through the competitive tendering process for each lot to supply the products and services covered by the procurement. Each lot will be evaluated separately. The overall solution covered by the procurement must pass acceptance testing and be delivered ready for production use by 28.2.2026. The procurement covers the delivery of two (2) complete solutions per lot, including licenses and support and maintenance services. The agreement is valid for a maximum of five (5) years from signing. The procurement includes an option for the delivery of additional equipment by 31.12.2026.
