The general objective normally consists of capturing and preserving broodstock used to produce juvenile salmon whose behavior is as close as possible to that of wild salmon born in the environment (ability to feed and survive in the natural environment, ability to migrate to the sea to feed and grow there, ability to return to reproduce in the upstream areas of the Loire basin, ability to reproduce effectively, that is, to produce naturally viable individuals), while minimizing the risk of loss of genetic diversity. It should be noted that for this contract, 2026 stocking is not included (outside the period). Procedure: open.
