Opportunity description

The purpose of the contract is to carry out the project management assignment for the restoration of the façades and exterior joinery located on Avenue Victoria and Rue Adolphe Adam, as well as the façades overlooking the interior courtyards of the building located at 12-14 Quai des Gesvres in Paris (75004). The building, which forms a city block, comprises a ground floor and six upper floors. The central courtyard is built above the ground floor. There are four main exterior façades and four small façades at the chamfered corners. The works concern the restoration of the ashlar and rendered façades, ironwork, rainwater drainage system and lead elements, and the replacement of the exterior joinery. As the building dates from the 1860s, heritage restoration expertise will be required from the project management team to successfully complete this assignment and liaise with the Bâtiments de France authorities. The works concerned are subject to administrative authorization, which must be obtained by the holder of this contract. Finally, as the site houses police services operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as well as members of the public, advance planning for organizing the construction work on a sensitive occupied site must be taken into account from the Study phases onward. For information, an initial operation to restore the façades on Quai de Gesvres and Rue Saint-Martin will enter the works phase in 2027 and is not part of this assignment. The contract holder will be entrusted with the following basic assignments: Preliminary design studies (APS); Final preliminary design studies (APD); Project studies (PRO); Assistance with the award of works contracts (ACT/DCE); Compliance review – approval (VISA); Management of the performance of the works contract (DET); Assistance during acceptance operations and throughout the perfect completion guarantee period (AOR).
