The purpose of the contract is to carry out the studies and works relating to the installation of the overhead contact line on the extension of the Caen la mer tramway and to the modification of the overhead contact line on the existing line. The contract includes: • Construction of the overhead contact line on the extensions of the Caen la mer tramway: o From Caponière station to the Saint-Contest - Athéna terminus o From Prairie station to the Pompidou terminus • Carrying out modifications to the LAC in the vicinity of Bernières station and Place de la Mare with a view to removing the existing LAC between these two stations. • Removal of the existing LAC between Bernières and Place de la Mare stations, including modification of the injection points in the city center to enable the necessary traction modifications • Carrying out modifications to the overhead contact line at the termini: o Hérouville Saint Clair: addition of a platform and a track o Presqu'ile: addition of a rear station and stabling tracks in the rear station.
