This scheduling, steering and coordination assignment concerns the operation involving the renovation of wing 40.06 of building 40 (also called building 40.06), aimed at ensuring the long-term sustainability of the facilities, rationalizing floor space in relation to the building’s new uses, and improving occupant comfort. The operation must allow the continuation of the comprehensive rehabilitation program for the whole of building 40, initiated in 2020. The renovation program follows the CEA’s property strategy by applying the French State’s policy on office-space occupancy, bringing the building into compliance with the thermal regulations in force, and respecting energy efficiency requirements and targeted performance levels. The renovation operation for wing 40.06 comprises: A phase no. 1 relating to asbestos removal / stripping-out of wing 40.06; A phase no. 2 relating to the fit-out of wing 40.06; Related shared works/resources/site facilities, under the CEA’s internal project management. The services entrusted to the Contractor are divided into one firm tranche and four optional tranches as follows: Firm tranche: - Phase no. 1 – Asbestos removal / stripping-out: OPC assignments during the design/studies phase (from AVP through to ACT) covering the scope of phase no. 1; - Phase no. 2 – Fit-out: OPC assignments during the design/studies phase (from APS through to ACT) covering the entire scope of phase no. 2 (base and options no. 1 and 2 under general project management, and related shared works/resources/site facilities for the operation, under the CEA’s internal project management); Optional tranche no. 1 - Phase no. 1 – Asbestos removal / stripping-out: OPC assignments during the works phase until the final outstanding item has been resolved, the Structure has been put into operation and commissioned, and the future users have taken possession of the premises, for the scope of the phase no. 1 works; Optional tranche no. 2 - Phase no. 2 - Fit-out: OPC assignments during the works phase, until the final outstanding item has been resolved, the Structure has been put into operation and commissioned, and the future users have taken possession of the premises, for the scope of the base works under phase no. 2 and the related shared works/resources/site facilities for the operation, under the CEA’s internal project management; Optional tranche no. 3 - Phase no. 2 - Fit-out: OPC assignments during the works phase, until the final outstanding item has been resolved, the Structure has been put into operation and commissioned, and the future users have taken possession of the premises, for the scope of the works relating to option no. 1 of phase no. 2 concerning the technical utilities associated with the computer room intended for DPTI (named INFO 1); Optional tranche no. 4 - Phase no. 2 - Fit-out: OPC assignments during the works phase, until the final outstanding item has been resolved, the Structure has been put into operation and commissioned, and the future users have taken possession of the premises, for the scope of the works relating to option no. 2 of phase no. 2 concerning the technical utilities associated with the computer room intended for the Centre (named INFO 2). The CEA will activate all or part of the optional tranches, if required, by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt no later than one month after the award of the Works contracts covered by the optional tranche concerned. Failure to activate all or part of the optional tranches shall not give rise to any compensation for the Contractor.
